Context Art Miami Happening!

Every year in December Miami hosts the largest art show in the world. It all began with Art Basel many years ago. That show was SO successful that other venues began to open their own shows. Eventually it has built up to twenty (!) satellite shows taking over downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Let me tell you it’s an art riot!

We have been in the Context show the last three years (yes, had to skip 2020 when it didn’t happen) and this year is no exception. We sold out the show last year which inspired me to continue creating using my micro-dot technique on aluminum panels. The aluminum creates a subtle reflectivity highlighting the effect of thousands of three-dimensional micro-dots of oil paint on the luminous surface, making the subject seem to float in space.
